Dear Ashwini,
To calculate the LTCG details are required, like Purchase Value, Date of purchase, Sales price & date, Cost of Improvement/renovation etc.

A builder is charging 12% GST&ITC for an under construction property. As far as I know, after 2019, GST has been reduced to 5%. When asked about this, the builder said that the government passed the liability of ITC (7%) to the buyer and the builder has to collect it from the buyer. Could you let me know if this is right? Also, please explain this ITC concept and how is it calculated. Thanks in advance.

I have a GST (sole proprietorship) registered small business (inter state supply of goods/ reselling) with turnover less than 10 lakh per annum. I also simultaneously do freelancing where I make artwork for clients. Is it legal to not show the income from the freelancing while filing GST?

No it is not legal. If your freelancing service is covered under GST and you are registered under GST you should show that income under GST as well.
